My good friend, gardening partner and design collaborator Roman sewed into the night this week. Driven by a profound belief in graphic design for social impact, Roman designed, silkscreened and hand-crafted re-usable canvas bags, and distributed them to local grocery shoppers (along with info about the excessive waste of disposable bags). Korean World Cup madness came to a tragic end with today's defeat to Switzerland, 2-0. In Korea, the match began at 4am Saturday and an estimated 1.5 million people watched on huge outdoor screens. Happy New Year! I apologize for the slow updates. It's been a long and wonderful transition since wrapping things up at CalArts, traveling, and moving out to New York. I'm currently working with some wonderfully talented people at a small studio called Potion, designing interactive exhibits for museums and retail spaces. I have new projects in the works that in time will be up on this site. But in the meantime, I think this page is due for a change. So you can meet the Oh family dachshund Ricky, who always brings good cheer to winter blues. More design and animation to come soon... 1.18.09 |
