4 WALKS IN NEWHALL:
Exercises in Type & Film

My thesis explored how typography can add narrative complexity to a film by creating 4 very short films based on the same story. Film #3 "Collage" combines video, stop motion animation and still photos. I wanted to explore how fragmented imagery could combine with type to represent the character's many facets. I was also interested in playing with tactility and spatial relationships. (2008)
